1. General Information
Lois M Photography (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides professional wedding and portrait photography services based in San Antonio, Texas, and serving clients throughout the Hill Country, Austin, and beyond. These terms apply to all services, communications, and use of our website at www.loismphotography.com

2. Booking and Payments
A signed agreement and non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date. Your remaining balance is due as outlined in your invoice or contract (typically 30 days before the wedding date). Failure to complete payment by the due date may result in cancellation of services.
All retainers and payments are non-refundable but may be transferable at our discretion in the case of rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule your session or event, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll make every effort to accommodate new dates subject to availability.
If the event is canceled entirely, payments made are non-refundable due to time reserved, planning, and administrative costs.
In the unlikely event that Lois M Photography must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, all payments (including retainers) will be refunded in full, or an associate photographer will be offered as an alternative.
4. Copyright and Usage
All images are protected under U.S. Copyright Law (Title 17, U.S. Code) and remain the intellectual property of Lois M Photography.
Clients receive a personal license for printing, sharing, and displaying images for non-commercial purposes. Images may not be altered, sold, or submitted for publication without written permission.
Lois M Photography retains the right to use images for portfolio display, website, marketing, and social media purposes unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the session.
5. Client Cooperation
Successful photography requires communication, timing, and cooperation. Clients are responsible for ensuring that key participants are present, prepared, and aware of the photography schedule. Lois M Photography is not responsible for missed moments due to delays, interference from guests, or restrictions imposed by venues.
6. Image Delivery and Editing
Final edited images are delivered through an online gallery within the timeframe specified in your agreement (typically 6–10 weeks for weddings).
All image curation and editing decisions are made at the discretion of Lois M Photography to ensure consistency with the brand’s fine art, timeless style.
RAW or unedited files are not included or available for purchase.
7. Weather, Travel, and Venue Restrictions
For outdoor sessions, we monitor weather conditions closely and may reschedule if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for photography.
Clients are responsible for obtaining photography permits or permissions when required by a venue or location.
Travel fees may apply for sessions or weddings outside of San Antonio, Austin, or the Texas Hill Country area and will be outlined in your proposal or contract.
8. Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data loss, or other unforeseen issues, liability is limited to the return of all payments received. While we take every precaution to protect your images, backups, and files, no system is infallible.
Lois M Photography is not responsible for consequential damages beyond the amount paid for services.
9. Website Use
All content, text, images, and layout on this website are owned by Lois M Photography. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any part of this site or its materials without written consent.
We do our best to ensure the website is accurate and up to date, but we make no guarantees regarding the completeness or reliability of any information displayed.
10. Privacy
Personal data collected through inquiry forms or bookings is used solely for communication and service delivery. We never sell or share your information with third parties outside of service-related purposes (such as album printing or delivery platforms).

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be handled in the appropriate courts of Bexar County, Texas.
