It can drastically shift the overall feel for your day, the number of people you can invite and it can dictate your dress and decoration choices. Now, being a wedding photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing at many venues. Most being in the San Antonio area.
So, here I am today with a list of 6 Favorite Texas Wedding Venues! From this blog, you’ll be able to see if one sticks out to you and hopefully find your dream venue! To see more about these San Antonio wedding venues, keep scrolling!
Horseshoe Bay resort is perfect for those wanting a more tropical vibe on their day. It’s just a short drive from Austin and San Antonio so it’s great for your out-of-state guests to be able to explore while they are visiting. This venue has multiple event spaces with both inside and outside options. I personally love the outdoor ceremony space because you get the gorgeous bay in the background and also palm trees for that beachy feel.
Lost Mission is a gorgeous wedding venue in Spring Branch, Texas. There is a chapel at this venue so it’s great for couples who want a more traditional ceremony. There are also indoor and outdoor options at Lost Mission including a patio and a modern reception hall. The reception hall can accommodate up to 400 guests and also offers a fireplace and a really fun built-in bar.
The Chandelier of Gruene offer so many accommodations including a chapel, reception hall, on-site lodging, suites, and so much more! This is really an all-in-one venue and is also really beautiful. There’s a bridal suite and a groom suite that are perfect for those getting ready photos. The reception hall is a barn style with a gorgeous chandelier and there’s also an outside area with a fire pit.
Park 31 events venue is nestled in the heart of Texas Hill Country. Situated on 31 acres of property this venue offers so many different experiences. There are multiple places to hold your ceremony and reception. Whether you want indoor or outdoor they have both options!
