If your blog post's featured images are fairly low resolution, you may want to delete the top image canvas. Your blog will still look gorgeous, but the top banner section looks best when you upload an image that's 2500px on the long side. Engagements

Engagement Session at Cibolo Nature Center

Meghan and Lucas’s engagement session at Cibolo Nature Center was so dreamy. We started out in the open field, then walked through the forest, and ended with some gorgeous shots of Meghan and Lucas getting their feet wet in river. The photos at the end are some of my favorite! I always love it when a couples is not afraid to get a little messy for the shot. It’s always worth it, and it usually ends up being the couple’s favorite picture in the gallery.

I am in love with the outfits that these two chose! The colors were absolutely perfect. Whether it be engagement, senior, or family, choosing the right outfit is so important. You have to think about the scenery around you and the time of day as well. Meghan and Lucas’s beautiful earth-toned colors complimented the natural scenery of the Cibolo Nature Center so well.

I am so excited for these two, I know how happy they are together and I cannot wait to see what their future holds. Keep scrolling to see all the dreamy shots.

Kind Words

“Lois did an absolutely phenomenal job on our engagement session! She was on point with the direction I was heading for (boho). She was very knowledgeable on the location of the pictures and suggested times based on the best lighting. She was very communicative and even worked with me on a last minute reschedule. She even helped me style my photos prior to the session.I am in LOVE with my pictures! She will be doing my bridals and wedding day as well and I have no doubt in my mind she will do great based on our first session together.”

editorial WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN SAN ANTONIO

Hi, I’m Lois

Long before I ever photographed a wedding, I was the kid in Oregon who noticed everything. When I picked up a camera, I became fascinated with angles, perspective, and preserving what was already happening while interpreting moments the way I saw them.

Photography, for me, has always been about observing what’s already there and preserving it with care. Growing up as one of eight children, the daughter of Romanian immigrants who built everything from the ground up, I learned to notice the quiet moments inside the chaos.

I was always drawn to creative ways of interpreting emotion, whether through music—I studied viola and piano in college—or through a camera. Those are the moments that matter most to me: the ones where connection becomes obvious without anyone trying too hard.

Photography has always felt like an extension of how I move through the world

Inside the work

A deeper view of my process — how light, timing, and direction shape images that feel honest and lasting.
