Stunning scenic views of Hill Country are never in short supply at the Lost Mission wedding venue in Spring Branch, Texas. The multi-facility Spanish-inspired venue sits on 60 private acres of property, and creates a destination feel right in the heart of the Lone Star State.
I’ve had the pleasure of capturing beautiful wedding memories at this venue in the past, and it’s become one of my most-loved locations in the area. If you’ve been looking for a unique venue that provides both excellent service and an old world charm, Lost Mission might just be your perfect fit.
If you’re dreaming of a chapel wedding but also want to host a larger celebration with a significant number of guests, Lost Mission has the capacity to accommodate your entire group. Their Spanish-style chapel features antique church pews built in 1890, a tall bell tower, handcrafted details, and grand architectural arches to create a picturesque ceremony. Following your vows, you and your guests can transition into the reception area—a hall that can hold up to 400 people and can be decorated to suit your own wedding vision. The venue even offers custom lighting and decor installations so you can truly put your own touch on the space.
For celebrating in style while surrounded by natural scenery, Lost Mission has an spacious 7,000 square foot patio available to use as well. It features an expansive firewall which creates a cozy ambience along with the dainty cafe lights strung overhead. The atmosphere couldn’t be any more romantic in this outdoor space, so it’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser while you dance the night away.
The hours leading up to your wedding ceremony are filled with excitement, nerves, and bonding with your closest friends and loved ones. When you book your wedding at Lost Mission, you’ll gain access to both their bridal suite and groom’s room.
Both rooms are expertly furnished to match the feel of the venue, and would provide the perfect backdrop for your getting ready photos. They also provide enough space for your entire bridal party to lounge comfortably throughout the morning so you can relax knowing that all of your important people can be there with you.
Lost Mission is committed to providing you with the most seamless wedding experience possible, and to that end, offers on-site catering and full bar service for every event. All food that comes out of their kitchen is freshly prepared using high-quality ingredients, so I have no doubt that your guests will be raving about their meals long after your wedding is over.
Once you’ve committed to Lost Mission for your wedding venue with a signed contract, they provide access to the property for bridal portraits. Bridal portraits are often an overlooked opportunity for photos, but if you’re able to get them done, I highly recommend capturing those memories.

For romantic weddings with an old world, Spanish flair, look no further than Lost Mission. The natural beauty, architectural interest, and spacious facilities this venue offers will create a dream day for any couple excited to say their “I do’s.”
It’s an ideal choice for couples who want an all-inclusive experience to take some of planning stress off their plate—Lost Mission is guaranteed to create a cohesive, luxurious event.

Chris and Alma are getting married at Devil’s River Distillery so naturally, we had their engagement session there. We walked around downtown and then took some pictures at their wedding venue, and just walking around made me so excited to photograph their wedding day! After we took some photos near the River Walk, we went to a rooftop and I am in love with those shots. Even though this was their first time getting pictures taken, Chris and Alma were so natural in front of the camera.
Before the session, Alma told me that she was pretty nervous. But afterwards, she told me she felt so much more confident and ready for the wedding day! This is why I always recommend scheduling an engagement session with your wedding photographer. It is the perfect, low-stress moment to not only get more comfortable in front of the camera but more comfortable with your photographer. Alma said after this session she felt relieved because her trust in me as her photographer strengthened.

Kind Words
“Lois was so great for my engagement photoshoot!! She was super kind and patient with us and she gave us recommendations for poses to help us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Our sneak peek and full gallery came to us so much quicker than I expected and all the pictures looked amazing! When there were issues with viewing my gallery she responded quickly with a solution! I would recommend Lois to anyone who is looking for someone fun and professional to do their photoshoot!”
